Below, you will find some sample weddings, so you can get a better idea of what you can expect to receive from your own wedding should you choose to book me. I also have a long FAQ section at the end of the page, which hopefully covers many of the questions you may (& may not) have thought of. Though of course please do get in touch if you have any other questions, or want to discuss your own shindig!
I have two main packages; the Couples Package & the Wedding Package. Though there are some optional extras so you can make your own bespoke package to meet your individual requirements.
Couples Package
The Couples Packages are short & sweet! It covers elopements & engagements as well as portrait sessions up to 3 hrs, allowing plenty of time for natural, relaxed photos of the two of you in a setting of your choosing. These can be fun break away from the all the emotions of a hectic wedding day.
- Couple Portrait sessions are ideal for wedding invitations, prints for the home, or simply getting comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. Photo shoots are not as daunting as you think, I keep them very relaxed—we'll spend a couple of hours together creating authentic moments without any forced or clichéd poses. Whether we're exploring a coastal path, hiking a scenic trail or taking a stroll in a beautiful part of town, we'll capture something truly special together.
- The small, intimate nature of an Elopement allows plenty of time for the ceremony as well as some natural portraits of the newlyweds.
- If you are thinking of proposing to your partner, it can be wonderful to capture candid images of you both as you get down on one knee & ask that question.
The Wedding Package
From bed hair & breakfast in the morning to dodgy dancing & fireworks at night, the wedding package can cover your day from start to finish. The Wedding Package includes me, Ben, for 10 glorious hours.
I'm friendly & calm, work quickly & quietly, with no shouts to "hold still" or "can we do that again". I aim to be discreet & unobtrusive, allowing you & your guests to enjoy the day with few distractions.
I like to create a visual patchwork of shots that tell a story, from wide vistas of your location & venue, to the smallest of details & everything in between. On top of the traditional elements of a wedding day; ceremony, reception, dinner, speeches, cake cutting, first dance & party, I also include a portrait session for as long or short as you wish. It's a short break for you & your partner to have a bit of time to yourselves, away from the crowds & register the fact your are actually married! No embarressing poses, just natural, comfortable pictures of you being you.
I also have a drone for some aerial views over your venue, showing it in context to its beautiful surroundings.
Couples
This could just be a portait session for you & your other half, a short elopement with few witnesses or capturing the moment when you propose.

Where do you work?
UK, Europe or further afield. I love to travel, but love working in the UK too!
How long have you been doing this for?
I have been working as a professional photographer for 20 years, so I have lots of experience! I have shot weddings for most of that time while my non-wedding work involves photographing lifestyle & portraits for a wide variety of clients. How far in advance can I book?
Usually up to 2 years.
What kit do you use?
If you want to get nerdy & know your stuff... I have 2 x Sony A9ii camera bodies, with a range of primes lenses: 35mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.2, 85mm f/1.4 & 135mm f/1.8 as well some zoom lenses: 12-24mm f/2.8, 24-70mm f/2.8 & a 70-200mm f/2.8. I also have a DJI Air 3 drone to get some epic shots of your venue!
Can you hold a date for us?
To secure your wedding date I require a signed contract & a deposit. Due to high demand, bookings are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do we book you?
Get in touch & I will send you a booking form & contract. This outlines the details of your wedding, what's included in your package, the payment terms, deposit, copyright, licensing & the delivery of your images. Once this is all agreed, a £500 deposit will reserve your date!
Can you provide 2nd photographer?
I often buddy up with my wife when more comprehensive coverage is requested. She's a professional photographer too!
Can we meet before booking?
I would love to! Whether over coffee or a video call, I'm always happy to connect & discuss your plans before you make your decision. Simply get in touch to arrange a time.
How much is the deposit?
£500.
Do you charge expenses?
UK weddings usually incur no additional fee. If your wedding or elopement is abroad I will ask you to cover my travel expenses.
Do you visit the venue before the wedding day?
As I capture weddings across the UK & beyond, I do not typically visit venues in advance. However, I conduct thorough research beforehand & always arrive early on the day to familiarise myself with the location.
Will we need to provide you with a meal?
Yes, please. A wedding day is long & demanding for photographers, so having a meal ensures I am able to keep working hard. I kindly ask you to organise for the venue to provide me with a warm, filling meal, as there isn’t usually an opportunity for me to step away. I typically don’t photograph much during mealtimes, allowing your guests to chomp away without feeling self-conscious, so it’s the perfect time for me to take a discreet break.
How long do you shoot for in a day?
The Couples Package includes up to 3hrs photography, while a Wedding Package includes up to 10hrs as standard. Whilst this will be plenty for most celebrations, extra hours can be added for an additional fee.
Do you have a drone?
Yes. I have a DJI Air 3, so I can get some epic views of your venue when it allows.
How many photos do we get?
From a full day wedding you can usually expect between 400+ edited images.
How long does it take to receive our photographs?
I pick out a few highlights of your day within the first week, so you get to re-live some of those key moments while on your honeymoon.
The full edit can be expected within 6 weeks.
Do you retouch your photos?
I edit every image to make sure the exposure & contrast are perfect & ensure the colours & tones are consistent & match my photographic style.
Will we have access to RAW or unedited files?
No, I don’t provide RAW or unedited files. I carefully select & edit the best images in my signature style, ensuring a cohesive & polished final collection.
How do we get our photos?
I provide you with a temporary password-protected web gallery with all your edited photos, which you can easily view, share & download from. Be sure to download & store them somewhere safe!
I hate having my picture taken, what can I do?
Not everyone loves being photographed (me for one!) & couples often comment on how little they're aware of me during the day. I try to be a friendly fly on the wall, so hopefully you won't notice me too often to feel awkward at being the centre of attention.
For any couple photos I like to take my brides & grooms for a short walk, away from the barage of congratulations & well wishers to give you a moment to yourselves. No cheesy poses or awkward smiles, let it all sink in & natural photos of you looking happy usually follow.
Are you insured?
Yes, I have public liability insurance for your peace of mind.
What happens if you are unable to attend due to illness?
While highly unlikely, in the event that I am unable to attend, my wife is luckily an excellent wedding photographer too & shoots in a similar way. Your images will still be edited by me in my signature style, ensuring a seamless final gallery.
Why is Wedding Photography expensive?
It is easy to forget your photography package encompasses much more than the wedding day itself. Pre-wedding consultations, travel, days of photo editing & retouching, ongoing client support, as well as the investment required in professional camera equipment & digital delivery systems all add up.
